Today, wake up earlier than usual because we had to go to NYC for a mandatory orientation meeting organized by CDS, the company which helped us having our visa.

Since the meeting was at 10am, we got out of the apartment around 8:15am but still managed to arrive late ; but this wasn't our fault but the PATH and subways which we had to wait for a long time.

The meeting was pretty useless and last only 30 minutes ; it talked about a lot of things we already knew since we were in the US for more than 3 weeks now. We were planning to stay at New York the entire day but it was so cold that we decided to go back to Avalon.

On the road, we stopped at a really nice restaurant named "The Cheescake Factory". As you may have guessed, this restaurant is speciallized on cheesecakes which looked very yummy, but since it is a restaurant, it has to propose much more things. The menu is quite big since you can find specialities as pastas, burritos, burgers, fish etc ... It looked awesome but the four of us decided to try the "Tons of fun burger" on Fabien's advice. The sandwich is really big and more raffinate that what you can find anywhere else. There are a lot of vegetables and a sauce really different from the usual "Ketchup".

Tons of fun burger

I couldn't finish the fries and I still feel the burger making "fun" of me in my stomach ...

On the way back, snow started to fall, first gently but it didn't take much time to cover all the road. We had to drive really slowly to avoid any accidents.

Snow (Thanks Fabien for the photo of the swimming pool)

Back at the apartment, I had the opportunity to speak via Skype with my love Céline. It has been a long time since we couldn't speak like that on week day :).

Just after she went to sleep, we took the car quickly to buy some milk and other food at the Shop Rite.

Since I ate a lot this noon, I decided to go to the fitness center again. Thanksfully, the alarm didn't ring this time, maybe because it was only 6:30pm.

The snow is still falling and we may not go to work tomorrow, let see :).
