Last friday was my last working day at Siemens Corporate Research. I thought it would have been pretty busy but everything went smoothly, especially the checkout-thing required by the Human Resources department.

As to thank me for my "wonderful work" (hehe), one of my manager, because I had two managers in the end, organized a farewell lunch for me at a Mexican restaurant named "On the border" ; the food was nice and so was the lunch. As usual, a speech was made at the end and we went back to "work".

Between this entry and the last one, Celine and I moved a lot, especially to Washington for a week-end trip three weeks ago and it was quite tiring. I think this was because of the sun and the heat and that almost every interest things to see are on the outside with no shade ... But it was a nice trip, the city is beautiful and our hotel was awesomely located, two blocks north from the White House :D. Unfortunately for the few readers, I am just too lazy to upload some photos.

We also went back to New York's China town where we ate asian food again :) ! But the best will be when I get back home and be able to eat my Mom's wonderful "cuisine" :D !

During our last two weeks and a half in the US, we will be staying a week in the Princeton area, going back to some place we liked, buying some stuffs for friends etc ... And then, on the 10th of August, we will be heading to San Francisco for 9 days before going back to Paris. We will be able to visit the city without rushing ourself and use this remaining week to schedule as much as possible our trip.

We also bought two tickets for a NFL pre-season game showing the San Francisco Forty-Niners against the Greenbay Packers at the Candlestick Park. We will be seated in front of the 30 yard lines at 8 rows from the field :D !

NFL - Tickets

You can't see it well on the picture, but the tickets usually cost $98 + tax; but luckily, we got them for $50 + tax each :D !

On the wednesday of our trip, we also bought two tickets for Alcatraz ! I have heard many good comments about this place so I hope it will be amazing.
